Taking a break until March 31st

It's time to close the gates for a bit!

We're taking extra precautions concerning the COVID-19 outbreak. As a result, Fort Steele Heritage Town will be closed to visitors until March 31st.

We will also decide in the coming weeks if our 30th Annual Easter Event must be cancelled. With Easter fast approaching and restrictions in place regarding large groups, we will be monitoring the situation closely. We want to ensure the Fort remains a safe and healthy environment, and while we would be disappointed to cancel our renowned family event, we will not compromise safety if situations have not improved.

In the meantime, we are taking all necessary safety measures and ensuring above average cleaning protocol across all departments.

While we will continue to prepare our site for the summer 2020 season, our staff are expected to stay home if they feel unwell to prevent the further spread of illness.

The bakery is still providing wholesale customers their products with provided safety precautions for contact.

Here's to good times during spring break activities, and we wish all the best of health!
