Living History Street Theatre Actor
This spring and summer enjoy living the life of one of Fort Steele's original citiznes while being paid to perform and interact with people from all arounf the world!
Job Runs: May 17th - August 31st 2020
Auditions will be held on the evenings of April 8th, 9th, 10th. Please email a resume and a photo of yourself to book an auditon time.
For audition you will need to perform a monologue and sing 2 songs of your choice of different genres. If you play an instrument that is a bonus, so bring that too! (We supply piano if needed).
Video submissions are excepted if not able to attend auditons in person.

Education Interpreter / Summer Camp Leader
Do you like kids? Do you like history? Is teaching an interest of yours? Apply to be one of Fort Steele Education Interpreters for the 2020 season.
This is the perfect job for those studying a career in education, history or theatre, but is not necessary.
An education Interpreter is involved with living the life of Fort Steele citizens while teaching and interacting with people of all ages, especially school aged kids. There is never a dull moment as an educator as every spring day is full with intereacting and teaching the history of Fort Steele as if it is trully 1898.
Staff will be taught all the history that is involved and needed for this job. An Education Interpretor can be found in our Lambi House, Schoolhouse, Gold Panning Station, Town Tours, Riding the Pump Cart, helping in our trade shops and so much more!
In the summer months Interpretors can be found helping and running our summer camp program for kids as well.

We are looking for a semi retired individual or a college student who has an interest or love for baking. The job consists of 15-20 hour work weeks as weeks vary.
No qulifications are needed to apply, but a few personal skills are required. The energetic indivudal must have a love for baking, have outstanding customer service skills, be able to communicate well, work well with others plus be flexible with work times.
A valid drivers license is required as we do deliveries to and from Cranbrook on a daily basis.
The schedule is already created for this job and weekend work will be required. The job runs May until Labour Day 2020, but part time weekend work may be available in the fall months.
