Visitor Reception Centre Gift Shop
The visitor reception centre is a reconstructed buiding that is a replica of the original brewery that was located across the Kootenay River in what was known as Westport. The now reconstructed building contains our towns admission gate, cafe and gift shop! Come take a look at everything the shop offers from manufactured products, to local area items to our very own towns product as well!
Our City Bakery is a reconstructed building of the towns originally bakery from 1898 that was ran by Fort Steele's Jessie Underhill. Come enjoy some fresh baked goods and enjoy a beverage while sitting on our patio with fisherpeak in the background. All of our baked goods are baked in our facility in our wood stove oven.
Who doesn't love candy! What was once known as Kershaw and Sons general store can now be found as our towns candy store. We offer a wide range of popular candy from over the decades to present day favourites as well.
